Network security spend ’slow but steady’

Corporate spending didn’t jump in Q4 of 2005 but, it has remained steady. Speaking from personal experience I have seen that spending is on the rise but, yes, very slowly. In the last four years I have there has been a progressive improvement and I’m amazed to see some of the budgets that I have had approved. That being said, it’s nice to see that senior management i starting to “get it”.

Sales of network security appliances and software worldwide rose 15 per cent to $4.3bn during 2005, according to market researcher Infonetics Research.

Hope springs.
