Lost Ernst & Young laptop exposes IBM staff

I cannot believe this crap! It turns out that Ernst & Young has done it AGAIN! Apparently an E&Y employee had his laptop stolen from his car in January. On that laptop was the personal data for thousands of IBM employees. Data involved…names, birth dates, SSNs et cetera.

“Ernst & Young has a policy that this type of information is not supposed to be on a laptop,” Moran said. “Yet, these guys download the data because it’s convenient for them.”

Now, tell me again how these guys keep getting work?
