OfficeMax: No evidence of security breach

Hey folks, no word of a lie. It appears that OfficeMax, in a facing saving move, is claiming that there is no evidence og a breach.

Following an extensive review of its security systems, OfficeMax says it has no reason to believe it was the company that suffered the data breach that resulted in thousands of cases of debit card fraud.

They claimed on Tuesday that via an independent security expert’s study that there was no evidence of a breach. OK, so I guess we can let the 14 people in NJ go home.
