Swedish Piracy Row Gathers Pace

While I was madly refreshing my Fedex tracking for the new MacBook (more in another post) I missed the Pirate Bay Affair. Swedish police apparently working at the behest of the US police (read= “RIAA”) took down the well known pirate torrent site. This in turn led to a lashing out by the ne’er do wells that lurk on the internet as well as a protest march by supporters.
A raid on The Pirate Bay site by Swedish police is thought to have been the catalyst for hack attacks on official websites.The attacks are being investigated by the Swedish security service, its domestic intelligence agency.
Protestors took to the streets of Stockholm on Saturday to show their support for the BitTorrent search site.
