Finally, someone has jumped in to add SCADA plugins for Nessus. I’m happy to report that the folks at Digital Bond have partnered with Tenable (makers of Nessus) to provide this functionality. From their posting:
This work is a logical extension of what we are doing to add SCADA intelligence to IDS solutions with SCADA signatures. Now we will be adding SCADA intelligence to the leading cyber security testing tool.This partnership is rare for Digital Bond in one sense, it is vendor specific. Normally we go to great pains to be vendor neutral and have, in fact, turned down interesting and lucrative research opportunities with a few IDS vendors and other organizations because they would not allow the results to be shared with other vendors or the community.
