Well, I’ll be damned. A recent article in Information Security magazine had yours truly espousing the virtues of Network Intelligence as a SIM solution. I was quite surprised to see that they have just been acquired by EMC.
Now, I’m a little worried as I was about their purchase of RSA Security. I mostly afraid that they will be relegated to a backroom and the product line will die. I would love to be wrong about this but, time and again we see great companies being purchased only to see their product buried ultimately.
