More New Age Security Goodness

I’m starting to get the feeling that I’m playing the part of the New Age Guru character in a bad 90’s geeksploitation film.

I’ve been ranting on for some time on the topic of “how to do infosec better”. I’m working up a bit of a manifesto, we shall see what becomes of it.

In today’s news, I’d love *love* (like BFF with Steve Jobs kinda love) to hear back from any of you on what you think of this article from the OLPC folks - Bitfrost.

I think that it may be as revolutionary for the security community as the sugar interface (from the same project) can be for UI design.

    Interesting concept.

    Though I find it at odd that “No user passwords” and the “No unencrypted authentication” are expected to live side by each.

    Additionally, I would assume that to create a system which is inherently secure would mean that disabling security protocols would be a little more difficult then a check box or a simple ‘click’ on a button that says OK, I have read this.
