I finally lost all semblance of patience and good grace. I really like Oakley but, those glasses cost me too much time and money. Well, I went and did something drastic.

I got my eyes lasered a couple weeks ago. Now, I'm 20/20.

Bought a pair of Oakley "gas can" afterwards and they're holding up better. It's a shame I never got my money back for all the pain and suffering caused by those wretched glasses.

		<description>Same story. I had a pair that both arms broke at the join. First the left and after the right one.  Shop replace the first one on warranty, second one broke after 14 months.  They didn't want to replace the second time because the one-year warranty was over.  I did complained but no result. I had to go directly to Oakley to get my glasses replaced. They were out of my current color, but I was happy with the new one.

The last incident was in january  2008. Last night, my baby girl grabbed my glasses on my face and again, they broke at the same weak pivot point.

Going back to the shop tomorrow get them fixed. I'll keep you posted.</description>

		<description>Contact Oakley directly. Their customer service is excellent. I lost a pair of Oakley juliets in the sea after the arm snapped and after some to-ing and fro-ing by email they sent me out a brand new pair.</description>

		<description>I would ask for a refund but, I have the unpleasant aspect of a new owner for the shop that I purchased my glasses from. They claim that this is not their problem. For the most part this posting was out of sheer frustration as I broke them last night. Today, I need them for my conference. 		<description>Clearly Oakley has problems with the frames that you are currently wearing.  Have you had problems with other Oakley products over the many years that you have been wearing their glasses?  If this is your only negative experience, why not simply seek a refund or credit and try a different style of Oakley frames.</description>
