Sorry for being late out of the gate today. I’ve been contending with a rather nasty headache. I did receive some good news from one of the three vendors that I currently have vulnerabilities submitted to. Vendor “X” (I’ll reveal who once they have an update for their software available) has confirmed in a email today that the vulnerability I submitted is bona fide and will be issuing a fix for their product in the next couple months. Stay tuned.

And now, the news…

  1. Security researcher finds flaw in Windows Media Player
  2. Using RFID delays DHS Pass card release
  3. Work with end users — not against them — to improve security
  4. On Reputation Damage
  5. Endpoint Master Agent or Interoperability
  6. Captain Stupendous — Making the Obvious…Obvious! Jericho Redux…
  7. The Threat of Reputation-Based Attacks
  8. Breakfast sessions on information security management
