Security Briefing: September 25th

newspapera.jpg

Got my second vulnerability out the door last night to the vendor “Y”. They were remarkably quick responding. I’ve heard stories of non responsive vendors (and I’m sure they are out there) but, so far my experience has been positive. Vendor “X” will be releasing their new build before December at which point I can release the information.

And now, the news…

  1. NY subpoenas Facebook over safety from predators
  2. Symantec accidentally warns of internet meltdown
  3. You Know, There Aren’t A Lot Of Songs With “Tuesday” In The Title…
  4. Asterisk - what would your “security roadmap” for Asterisk be?

  6. Yangon bloggers outsmart Myanmar censors
