Nigerian Hacker Hunted In Vietnam

No one is immune to online fraudsters. The police in Vietnam have issued a wanted notice for a Nigerian scammer who is now on the lam.

Vietnamese police have released a wanted notice for a Nigerian hacker for stealing passwords of credit accounts of Vietnamese and foreigners and using these accounts to book tickets with low cost airlines.

On October 17, the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam arraigned this hacker, named Opeoluwa Mark Adeyemi, 36, for fraud, and permitted him to be out on bail. However, he immediately went missing from his temporary residence.

According to police, this man hired a house on An Duong Vuong road, ward 16, District 8, HCM City. He worked as a technician for a Vietnamese limited liability company named Hoang Yen Minh.
