All kidding aside its sad to see a crusader for law and order go down like that.
Having built his career chasing criminals and even going after Sony BMG for their rootkit nonsense a while back it boggles the mind that he would throw it all away. No, I’m not casting stones. It’s just sad. His family has been shattered on prime time for the world to see and the community has lost an (apparent) law and order man.
At least it gave the media an over due sex scandal feeding frenzy as they hoisted their ratings over the steaming corpse of Eliot’s shattered political career.
Well, maybe this will provide an opportunity for Lou Bega to cash in for another twist on the Pérez Prado’s song “Mambo No. 5“.
[UPDATE] Well, the cat is out of the bag. From the rumblings flying around the internet and the emails that I received this (after the jump) is apparently “Kristen”, the woman at the center of the scandal with the now former governor.
Interesting quote on her site. “What destroys me, strengthens me”.
