    With the TVA thing, perhaps it’s just political grandstanding, but don’t overlook the demand by the NJ member and the RI Chairman of the Subcommittee’s interest in pursuing contempt charges against the ERO. They were skillfully outmaneuvered by both FERC and the Subcommittee in this hearing, and stand little chance at defending themselves should charges be brought.

    Expect a realignment of oversight functions, with regards to security of the grid, should such a charge be successfully prosecuted. My guess is FERC and/or DHS win there.
