I managed to get selected as an official blogger for RSA. I was really looking forward to attending RSA 2008 next week. But, due to circumstances, I will not be able to go. I’m set to have a medical thing tomorrow that will apparently preclude me from flying for several days. I still plan to post about the show (via sources on the ground in San Fran). If you are attending be sure to make the most of it. RSA 2008 is a huge show so do yourself a favour, wear a good pair of shoes. Last year I had some back pain from walking up and down the vendor floor. For the most part its carpet laid over concrete. That, will catch up with you. There are a large number of events that you should take advantage of. If you are new to the RSA Conference be sure to attend the first timers orientation. That will help a great deal. Your guide book has a lot of info so be sure to give it a thorough once over. A lesson I learned the hard way last time. It should be a great time.
Oh, and if you like seafood…go to Scoma’s on pier 47. Show up before 6 pm if you don’t like waiting for a table. Fantastic restaurant!
