It has been a long time since I last posted on this site. Truth be told it was broken for at least three years. Nothing quite like having some free time to catch up. Honestly, it has been somewhat refreshing getting back into technical work and updating code, researching topics that have been on the back burner forever and plotting world domination …er, inside voice Dave.
I have been taking time to revisit this site’s purpose and what I want to do with it in the future. Now that it is somewhat functional I can get to planning and building. I will be rebooting the podcast and creating a video portion as well which has been threatened since 2017. It is funny how life (and a pandemic) can throw a spanner in the works.
I am looking forward to speaking at ATLSECON in Halifax, Nova Scotia in a couple weeks. I’m also launching a professional services component to this site which will be hosted on a separate site. It feels good to be back at this again and I often wonder how I drifted so far away from something that makes me this happy. Really did lose my way.
I will continue to speak at events as time permits. I’m looking forward to delivering my keynote at Qubit in Prague next month and Securityfest in Gothenburg in June.
As well I will be adding some board of directors spots to my rotation as well as creating a Calendly link (tried to avoid this for many moons) to allow for mentoring availability if anyone is so inclined.
I am looking forward to getting back to a regular cadence. We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.
