Love ’em or hate ’em you just have to enjoy the fact that Lulzsec took out a terrorist website. While they are better known for their antics with the Sony sites it is a pleasure to see them use their abilities to take out the trash.

From Slashgear:

LulzSec has taken its sights off Sony for a moment and directed its efforts at aljahad.com, a purported terrorist site. We don’t know the official definition of what constitutes a terrorist site, but after checking out aljahad.com it could certainly fit the bill. The Lulz Boat took credit for nuking the site, and added the taunt “ujelly.” Even though aljahad.com was only temporarily brought down, Props to the Lulz team. It isn’t often we see hackers spun positively in the news.

They are by no means the first group to engage in this sort of behaviour. A character who goes by the handle th3j35t3r has been launching denial of service attacks fairly regularly against similar sites. Yesterday there seemed to be a dischord between the two aforementioned. It wasn’t entirely clear what transpired but it made for interesting reading on Twitter.

Soon afterwards th3j35t3r made some veiled threats. It’s unclear if this arrest of three Spanish hackers, implicated in the PSN takedown, was in any way related to those warnings.
